Das Kulturzentrum HERRENHOF zeigt in diesem Jahr die 5. internationale Ausstellung „art-imaginär 2013“ mit 53 Künstlerinnen und Künstlern aus 7 Ländern. Das Spannende an diesen Ausstellungen sind die Werke 
von Künstlern, die uns ihre inneren Weltbilder offenbaren. Künstler, die sich von ihrer Phantasie in subjektive Paradiese treiben lassen oder deren Phantasie Ungeheuer gebiert.

Die Ausstellung wird von zwei Sonderausstellungen ergänzt mit Werken von Hermann Hoormann und Prof. Helmut Göring und wir erinnern an den 65. Geburtstag von Werner Holz.

Sonderausstellung im Renaissance-Bau (Getreidekasten)

Hermann Hoormann ein Phantast aus der Pfalz wird 80 Jahre. Hermann Hoormann wurde 1933 in Meppen/Ems geboren, studierte Kunsterziehung, Deutsch, Philosophie und Pädagogik in Mainz und war danach Kunsterzieher, Maler und Grafiker in Bolanden/Pfalz.
Hoormanns Bilderwelt zeigt ein permanentes, manieristisches Spiel von Visionen, die sich zum Teil überlagern und in Metamorphosen übergehen. Die Realität verwandelt sich ins Groteske und wird symbolisch. Seine Vorliebe liegt bei der Kunst des Mittelalters und der Frührenaissance.

Prof. Helmut Göring (1917-2013) 1917 in Zweibrücken geboren und lebte in Kaiserslautern und Neustadt. Nach einer Lehre als Theatermaler war er amBadischen Staatstheater in Karlsruhe tätig. 
1938 bis 1946 Soldat und russische Gefangenschaft. Danach Kunststudium in Saarbrücken und Assistent bei Karl Kunz. Seit 1949 Lehrer an der Werkkunstschule Kaiserslautern. 1967 erhielt der Künstler den Pfalzpreis. Helmut Göring war Lehrer vieler pfälzischer Künstler.

Werner Holz (1948-1991) 1948 in Grünstadt/Pfalz geboren. Buchbinderlehre, FHFMainz, Grafische Akad. München, Assistent an der Freien Akad. Mannheim. Holz lebte als freischaffender Maler in Frankenthal und Herxheim am Berg. Seine Malerei wurde durch die Werke von Hieronymus Bosch und Pieter Bruegel der Ältere inspiriert. Er selbst sah sich in der Tradition einer allgemeineren, sich durch viele Jahrhunderte ziehenden „Malerei des Phantastischen“.

The Dreams & Divinities Travelling Show celebrates the Equinox in Paris

The 2013 Travelling Show was launched this Spring Equinox in the historical Iglesia St Marcos of Toledo Spain.
It will finish this autumn in Paris with a celebration on the Autumn Equinox.
Because of limited space we will be exhibiting in a few Parisian places this autumn.  Artists from ‘The Travelling Show’ not in this show will be exhibited in another. TO BE ANNOUNCED.
Thirty of the the 94 pieces will be on display at “La Porte Soleil” from September 13th to October 5th 2013

OPENING WITH CONCERT: September 13th at  18 :00

Acoustical interactive concert with Axel Lecourt : 19:30
From the Mouth Harp to the Pygmy flute, Axel Lecourt engages us in the rites, rhythms and sounds of the Virgin Forests from Gabon to the Amazon. Through a collective improvisation he will take us on a voyage filled with the sounds of birds and unusual instruments, a testimony to his love for Nature and Life.

EQUINOX CELEBRATION: 21 Septembre at 19:00

A moment of Gratitude for the changing season and the art, music, wisdom, love and  appreciation we’ve had on this travelling show from Equinox to Equinox.
MULTI-SENSORIAL EVENT BY MICHEL ROUDNITSKA: 20:00 -20:30
“Soleils Intérieurs” – Voyage into the heart of the chakras and the elements.
See, hear, smell..-Michel Roudnitska combines a High Definition video projection of digital images ( fractals, particles) and images of Nature and associates them  with sound and aromas created specifically for the given chakra or element.  The combination immerses us in a multi-sensorial experience.
